How it works

Competition rules

Divisions, judging, callouts and what gets you removed.

Everyone starts in the Conference. You compete against people at your level, not people who've been doing this for years.

The six lanes

Dare · Sport · Comedy · Music · Skill · Creative. Enter one, several, or all six. There's a bonus for three or more, and a bigger one for the full set.

The divisions

PremierTop 20
Division One24
Division Two30
Division Three36
ConferenceEveryone starts here

Your entries score on every board you belong to at once — your town, your city, your country, your category, and the world.

The boards — two of them

Every board — town, borough, city, country, world — has a season table and an all-time table.

Season boardResets every season. Decides the title, promotion and relegation
All-time boardNever resets. Everything you've ever earned. A record, not a competition

The season board says how you're doing. The all-time board says what you've done.

The season one resets so somebody who joins in season three can win season three. A board that never resets means whoever was here first stays ahead forever.

A clip that goes viral months later pays into your all-time total forever, but only counts toward a season while that season is open — so nothing can retrospectively change a title somebody has already won.

Points

The principle: turning up pays more than winning.

Entering

Duels and titles

Duels are zero-sum — you both stake, the winner takes the pot. Nothing is created, so there's nothing to farm. A drawn or unentered duel returns both stakes. Title fights move no points at all — the belt is the prize.

What a week looks like

One lane150–400
Three lanes500–1,200
All six1,000–2,400
Judged 35 clips, entered nothing250–350

Over a season, six lanes every week is around 15,000. One brilliant clip is about 600. That gap is the whole design.

What never earns points

Logging in. Watching. Daily streaks. Time on the app. Nothing here rewards being on your phone.

Every point is inspectable

Points are append-only. Every one you've earned is a line with a reason attached, and nothing is ever silently adjusted.

How judging works — it's a prediction

Judging asks which clip will perform better — not which you prefer. You're settled against what actually happened, so you can be right or wrong, and you're scored on it.

10 points for calling it right. +25 for five in a row. +40 for an upset — a clip fewer than a third of judges backed. Predicting the favourite is easy; spotting the one nobody else saw is the skill.

It's a separate competition with its own table and its own champion, and someone who never picks up a camera can win it.

Head-to-head voting is different. That asks which clip is better. There's no right answer and you earn nothing — it's your taste, and taste isn't scored.

Challenge safety

Every challenge is reviewed by a named person before it goes live, whether we wrote it or the community proposed it.

The reviewer has to answer, in writing: could someone be hurt? Could it disrupt the public? Is anything about it unlawful? Does it involve alcohol, drugs or vaping? Is it degrading rather than funny? And — is failing it also safe?

A yes to any of those and the challenge is rejected, whatever anyone thinks of the idea.

Never do anything that puts you or anyone else at risk to enter a challenge. No prize here is worth an injury. If a challenge feels unsafe where you are, don't do it — report it instead.

Reactions

Six, and all of them positive: respect · funny · fire · nerve · skill · heart.

There is no dislike, no comment box and no way to message anyone. You can't be cruel here, because there's nothing to type in.

Callouts

Using callouts to pressure or target someone is harassment and will cost you your place.

Callouts, duels and head-to-heads — three different things

A CALLOUT is an invite. "Do this challenge with me." Nothing staked, nothing lost, and ignoring it tells them nothing.

A DUEL is a wager. Equal points from both of you, winner takes the lot, and it counts toward your league standing. Turning one down is public.

A HEAD-TO-HEAD is a fight for a belt. No points either way. Automatic weekly pairing, two clips side by side, people pick one. Best record over a season takes the title.

Duels

A callout is an invitation. A duel is a wager.

The head-to-head table

Belts have their own table, kept separate from the league.

P W D L PTSThree points a win, one a draw
FormYour last five results
MinimumThree matches before you're eligible for the belt
TiesBreak on wins, then on fewest byes

League points and head-to-head results never touch each other. Winning a head-to-head gives you no league points, and league points don't win head-to-heads.

Titles

A title is a belt, not a league position. You win it by beating whoever holds it, and you keep it until someone beats you.

Fantasy

Pick three players. You keep 20% of every point they score. One becomes your captain and scores double. One transfer a day. It has its own board, and it costs nothing.

Live

Going live is 18+ only. Everything else here is checked before anyone sees it, and a live stream can't be. Under-18s can't broadcast or watch live content.

Getting removed

Entries can be removed for breaking these rules. We'll tell you why and you can appeal to a person.

Repeated breaches lower your trust score, which raises the bar your entries have to clear. A good record never buys leniency — the score only ever goes down.

Report anything

There's a report button on every surface. Use it. If something is urgent, say so and why.
